The West Bloomfield - Lakes Area Democratic Club is an official association of the Michigan Democratic Party in West Bloomfield Township. We work to promote the philosophy of the Democratic Party, help elect Democrats to public office, and increase civic engagement.

All meetings are free and open to the public. They are usually held on the 1st or 2nd Thursday of the month and our primary venue is the West Bloomfield Public Library. However, meeting date, and location occasionally change due to venue availability. Meeting details are always provided via email notices, on the website, and meeting schedule.

The midterms are less than a year away and everyone is circulating petitions. They generally fall into the two main categories of candidates or issues. A brief overview of what's out there is here.

Second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm, at Sheet Metal Workers Local 80, 17100 W 12 Mile Rd in Southfield
Most meetings are usually held every other month on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm at different locations around the district. The next meeting will take place January 28 at 7 pm at the Commerce Twp Library

The WBLDems area includes West Bloomfield Twp, Keego Harbor, Sylvan Lake and Orchard Lake Village. In 2022, WBLDems formed a Political Action Committee to help elect quality Democratic candidates.
